Laura & Steve | Beachside WeddingSydney, Australia

My favourite kind of wedding to be apart of and capture, is one that reflects the individuality of the couple. For abit of a Hippie couple that would mean getting married out in the woods wearing bohemian attire, for a conservative couple with classic taste that would mean a Church and ballroom dining. For Laura & Steve, a big party by the beach with Japenese food and a live band was the perfect mixture, and I couldnt wait to be apart of it.

It was also exciting to find out that Laura & Steve lived less than 300m from my place, It was not uncommon for me to spot them at local cafes laughing and lunching together. As a Northern Beaches Wedding Photographer who sometimes travels to the otherside of the world for weddings, this was a refreshing change.

The day was off to a great start with perfect weather for a Sydney Wedding. Not too sunny, as to create unflattering shadows and not too to cloudy either. I jumped in an Uber to the Quarantine Station, the venue where Laura was getting ready. Here is how the rest of the day went…
